HTET Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 with Answer Key – HTET Solved Sample Paper
Three levels, three papers, one place to start. If you already know whether you’re sitting PRT, TGT, or PGT, skip straight to that page below, each one has the full subject-wise question paper and answer key set for 2024. If you’re not sure which level applies to you, the table below sorts that out in about ten seconds.
This is the HTET Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 with Answer Key, split by level because a Class 9-12 Lecturer paper and a Class 1-5 Primary Teacher paper have almost nothing in common beyond the exam name. Treating them as one download would just waste your time.
Pick Your HTET Level
| Level | Who It’s For | What’s Available | Go To Page |
|---|---|---|---|
| PRT – Level 1 | Primary Teacher, classes 1–5 | 1 common paper, all candidates sit the same one | HTET PRT Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 |
| TGT – Level 2 | Trained Graduate Teacher, classes 6–8 | 12 subjects, question paper + answer key each | HTET TGT Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 |
| PGT – Level 3 | Post Graduate Teacher / Lecturer, classes 9–12 | 21 subjects, question paper + answer key each | HTET PGT Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 |
Not sure which one is yours? PRT needs a diploma or degree in elementary education. TGT needs a bachelor’s degree plus B.Ed. PGT needs a postgraduate degree plus B.Ed. If you’ve already applied, your admit card says the level in plain text, no guessing required. Go to official website https://bseh.org.in/
What’s the Same Across All Three HTET Levels Sample Paper and Answer key
BSEH runs the same skeleton for every level: 150 objective questions, 150 marks, 2 hours 30 minutes, and no negative marking. Every paper comes in four shuffled sets, A through D, so the syllabus and marks split stay identical no matter which set lands on your desk. That consistency is exactly why last year’s paper is worth solving even though the exact questions won’t repeat, the structure you’re training for doesn’t change.
Where the levels split is the subject weighting. PRT spreads its 150 marks evenly across five general sections because a primary teacher covers everything. TGT and PGT both hand 90 of the 150 marks to your specific teaching subject, Child Development and Pedagogy plus languages cover the other 60. That’s the real reason a TGT Science paper and a PGT Science paper aren’t interchangeable practice, even though both are “Science.”
Why Bother With the 2024 Solved sample Paper Specifically
Every past paper teaches you something, but the most recent one teaches you the most about what BSEH is doing right now, how questions are being framed, which chapters keep resurfacing, where the paper leans easier or harder than the syllabus PDF suggests. Solving 2024 first, then working backward through older years, is a better sequence than the reverse. You calibrate against the current bar before you start hunting for patterns across years.
Having the answer key next to the question paper matters more than it sounds. Self-scoring without a key just means re-reading your own guesses and calling it revision. With the key, you get a real number, and a real list of which questions you got wrong and why, which is the only version of “practice” that actually moves a score.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which HTET level should I download papers for?
Whatever level your application or admit card lists, PRT for classes 1–5, TGT for classes 6–8, PGT for classes 9–12. Use the table above to jump straight to that page.
Are the 2024 papers still useful for the next HTET cycle?
Yes. BSEH keeps the exam pattern, marks distribution, and syllabus largely fixed year to year. The specific questions change, but the structure and the chapters that keep coming back don’t move much, which is exactly what makes a recent paper worth solving before an older one.
Is the HTET Solved Sample Paper the same as the official BSEH paper?
Yes, these are the actual 2024 question papers as conducted, not recreated or guessed versions, paired with their answer keys.
Do I need to sign up or pay to download these?
No. Every question paper and answer key on all three level pages is a direct PDF link, no account, no email gate, no payment.
Can I use the HTET PRT paper to prepare for CTET Paper 1, or vice versa?
Partly. The pattern and syllabus overlap heavily since both are Level 1/Paper 1 tests for primary teaching, but HTET PRT is Haryana-specific and CTET is the central-level exam, clearing one doesn’t automatically clear the other for Haryana recruitment.
Where do I find subject-wise papers instead of one combined file?
PRT doesn’t have a subject-wise split, it’s one common paper for every candidate. TGT and PGT are both listed subject by subject on their own pages linked in the table above.
