HTET PGT Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 with Answer Key (All 21 Subjects) – Download HTET Sample Papers Level 3 (HTET Old Papers)
Most people who land on a page like this have already made the mistake once. They downloaded a “PGT previous paper” PDF from somewhere, solved half of it, realized the questions didn’t match their subject’s actual level of depth, and gave up on past papers altogether.
That’s not your fault, it’s what happens when the paper you’re solving isn’t the paper BSEH actually set. So before anything else: I opened every one of these 21 subject papers myself, counted the pages, checked the question count against what BSEH printed on the cover. That’s not normal for a download page to bother with, but a folder of 21 unlabelled PDFs isn’t useful to someone revising Political Science at 11 PM the night before results season starts feeling close.
So this page does one thing differently. Every subject links straight to its own question paper and its own answer key. Click Biology, you get Biology, plus its key sitting right beside it. No folder to dig through, no account to create, no email to hand over.
Why a Real Past Paper (HTET Sample Paper Level 3) Changes How You Prepare
Here’s the thing about a syllabus PDF: it tells you what’s on the exam, but it can’t tell you how BSEH actually asks about it. A concept you’ve read and understood in a textbook can turn into a question written specifically to trip up the version of you who understood it only on the surface. You don’t find those traps by reading the syllabus one more time. You find them by sitting with a paper the board genuinely set, under the same time pressure you’ll face in the exam hall, and seeing exactly where you stumble.
There’s a second reason, quieter but just as real. The first time you sit a full 150-question paper, some of your attention goes toward simply adjusting to the exam itself, how the sections are laid out, how long a question you expected to breeze through actually takes when the clock is running. Better that adjustment happens today, at your desk, with this PDF, than on the one morning it actually counts.
Quick Facts: HTET PGT 2024 Paper
The 2024 HTET PGT paper, Level 3, for Lecturer posts, runs 150 objective questions for 150 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes. There’s no negative marking. Each subject paper is printed in four sets (A, B, C, D) to stop copying in the exam hall, and every set carries the same syllabus and difficulty, just reordered. BSEH conducts the exam.
The question booklet splits into two clear parts. Part I covers Child Development and Pedagogy plus languages: questions 1 to 30 are Child Development and Pedagogy, 31 to 60 are Hindi and English combined. Part II, questions 61 to 150, is your actual subject, Biology, Economics, Political Science, whatever you’re sitting for. That’s 90 marks riding on subject knowledge alone, which is why most candidates should be spending more revision time on Part II than Part I, even though Part I comes first in the booklet and feels like the natural place to start.
Before You Click Download, Decide This
Pick your subject below, but don’t open the PDF the moment it downloads. Decide when you’re actually going to sit it, an exact date, a two-and-a-half-hour block, phone in another room. Attempt all 150 questions cold, no NCERT open in a second tab, no pausing mid-question to check a fact you’re unsure of. Mark your responses on a separate sheet as you go. Only after you’ve finished, or the clock runs out, do you open the answer key. Solving with the key open beside you isn’t a mock exam, it’s just reading through the paper twice.

Why Every Subject Above Is Set A
If you’ve seen a friend’s copy from the same exam and the question order looks completely different, that’s not a printing error, it’s Set B, C, or D. Same 150 questions, same marks distribution, shuffled order so the person next to you can’t glance sideways for an answer. For revision purposes it makes zero difference which set you practice from, the syllabus coverage is identical. Linking Set A across the board here means you’re not hunting for a matching set for every subject.
After You’ve Marked Your Own Paper
Don’t stop at the final score. Split every wrong answer into one of three categories: didn’t know the fact, knew it but picked the wrong option under pressure, or never reached the question in time. The first means a genuine gap in your subject knowledge. The second usually means you’re rushing or second-guessing yourself, and more reading won’t fix that, slower and more deliberate practice will. The third is a pacing problem, and it’s worth timing yourself section by section next attempt instead of just the paper as a whole.
Once you’ve done that, pull last year’s paper for the same subject and solve it too. HTET recycles concepts far more than it recycles exact questions, a Political Science paper that asked about one constitutional amendment last year will ask about a different one this year, but it’ll ask about an amendment. Spotting which topics keep resurfacing is worth more than a fourth read-through of the textbook.
The HTET TGT and HTET PRT pages cover the other two levels if PGT isn’t actually the one you’re sitting, or start from the HTET Previous Year Solved Question Paper 2024 with Answer Key hub if you’re not sure which level applies to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
I solved this and scored badly on my subject. Am I going to fail the actual exam?
One paper is a diagnostic, not a prediction. Treat a low first score as a map of what to fix, not a verdict on your chances. What actually matters is whether your score on a second paper, attempted a few weeks after you’ve worked on the gaps this one exposed, moves upward. If it does, you’re doing the right things. If it doesn’t, that’s the signal to change your approach, not just repeat it harder.
Can I trust that this is really the BSEH paper and not a recreated version?
Yes. These are the actual question papers as conducted in 2024, not questions rewritten from memory or guessed at, paired with the genuine answer keys for each subject.
My subject isn’t in the list. Does that mean it wasn’t conducted in 2024?
Usually, yes. BSEH doesn’t run every PGT subject every cycle, and a missing subject here generally means it simply wasn’t held that year rather than that we skipped uploading it. Comment below with your subject and I’ll check and add it if a paper genuinely exists.
I’m strong on Part II but weak on the Child Development and Pedagogy section. Should I still bother with it?
Yes, and don’t treat those 30 marks as an afterthought just because your subject block carries more weight. A candidate who’s near-perfect on subject knowledge but drops 15 of 30 marks on Part I is losing exactly as many marks as someone who’s weak in one topic within their own subject. Marks don’t know which section they came from.
How many years of previous papers should I actually work through?
Two to three years per subject is a reasonable target, enough to spot recurring patterns without spending all your remaining time on repetition instead of new preparation. Start with 2024 since it reflects BSEH’s current framing, then move backward.
Do I need to sign up or log in to download these papers?
No. Every link goes straight to the PDF, question paper or answer key, hosted on our own server. Click, view, download, no account required.
